We’re proud to feature a superb SSAS service. SSAS Partner.
SSAS Partner Is A Dedicated SSAS Resource For Business Owners
A SSAS Partner Overview
SSAS Partner has been conceived as a direct result of feedback from SIPPclub Members. Roughly half our Members run their own businesses, so it’s no surprise they like to run their own self-invested pensions using a SIPP or a SSAS.
With the massive rise in popularity of SIPPs in recent years, the original self-invested pension, the SSAS, has taken a back seat. Yet SSAS provides benefits for business owners not available with a SIPP.
SSAS was originally devised in the 1970s to help business owners make the most of the tax privileges of pensions, whilst at the same time, maximising the money in their pensions to provide for their retirement, as well as benefitting their business and their family.
SSAS Partner has been created to bring the traditional SSAS back into play, updated for the 21st century. SSAS Partner focuses on helping you make the most of your SSAS, whether it's your professional partner helping you run your SSAS, or whether you have a SSAS with another provider. You can join SSAS Partner for free.

The Founders Of SSAS Partner Are Experienced Pension Experts
Stephen is a director and co-founder of SSAS Partner. He's an HMRC-approved pension practitioner. Stephen joined the SSAS industry in 1979. Having built a directly authorised pension and financial services business which was sold to a national IFA firm, he's worked for a number of the UK's largest SIPP and SSAS providers, latterly as an independent consultant. He's an FCA regulated pension transfer specialist and independent financial adviser for the Better Retirement Group.
Brian is a director and co-founder of SSAS Partner. He's an HMRC-approved pension practitioner. Since 1981, Brian has been a personal financial adviser with a specific focus on pensions and investments. He's a director and co-founder of Kingswood Law Partnership, a mortgage and protection business, and a co-founder of Kingswood Law Group which owns a directly authorised IFA firm. He's the founder of SIPPclub, a leading resource specialising in SIPP and SSAS for affluent people.
SSAS Partner Provides Expertise To Support You, Your Business, Your SSAS And Your Professional Advisers
Should you decide to have SSAS Partner create a bespoke SSAS for your business, at the heart of your relationship will be Brian or Stephen. They'll become your single point of focus, available whenever you need them, co-ordinating all the experts you’ll need to make the most of your SSAS for your retirement, your family and your business.
This doesn’t just include appointing a high quality independent SSAS Trustee and Scheme Administrator to create a unique SSAS for your business, who’ll also run it for you on a day-to-day basis. It comprises access to in-house and independent technical and regulatory experts to ensure your SSAS complies with all the relevant legislation, allowing you to take maximum advantage of this most flexible pension scheme.
Many of the things you might wish to do with your SSAS will involve external professionals, covering legal, financial and taxation aspects. SSAS Partner will always work closely with your existing trusted professional advisers to ensure you receive the best result.
SSAS Partner understands that running and operating a company or a partnership takes a certain level of financial acumen and understanding. With this in mind, subject to some appropriateness checks, it won't require you to seek advice from an independent financial adviser before you set up your SSAS, or when you make investment decisions.
You'll be able to invest your money in the full range of HMRC approved assets. To buy commercial property. To lend your money to your business, to finance its growth. Your SSAS can also grant loans to unconnected parties. You’re completely free to choose the platforms of your choice, for investments such as stockmarket assets and peer-to-peer lending, subject to the due diligence of your Scheme Administrator. You can appoint a discretionary fund manager and an independent financial adviser, and have their fees paid from your SSAS bank account, if you wish.
When it comes to cost, SSAS Partner takes a different view to most SSAS firms. You'll pay a fixed annual fee covering almost everything you might want to do. It typically costs less to run than a SSAS from firms that levy their fees based on a menu of charges.
It's competitively priced at a level similar to a full SIPP that allows access to a wide range of standard and non-standard assets. What's more, this fee covers two members. As a result, the average cost per member is usually lower than the cost of two equivalent full SIPPs, in addition to being significantly more flexible.
If You're Not A Business Owner
Interestingly, a SSAS can invite people to join, whether or not they work for the business. It means you could be invited to join a SSAS run by a member of your family, a business colleague or a friend. There could be advantages for both of you in doing this: for example, the pooling of your pension funds to purchase a more expensive and profitable commercial property.

As SIPPclub neither advises on, nor arranges, nor recommends specific investments or strategies, we're unable to say whether a SIPP or SSAS or any investment within it is right for you. Ultimately, it’s your money and your decision, and you should only proceed once you're satisfied you've undertaken sufficient due diligence. If you need advice, you should speak to your trusted adviser, or you could find a local adviser from Unbiased.co.uk. Alternatively, we'd be pleased to introduce to a suitably qualified independent financial adviser.
